**The Ultimate Pool Champions League returns for a fifth edition in January 2025.**

A professional-only ranking event for the third time will consist of 64 professional players.

Taking place on Monday nights from January 6, this unique 21-week event will be live from 18:00 GMT each week on TNT Sports, ultimatepool.tv and the Ultimate Pool App.

## Tournament Information

**Status:** Professional-Only Ranking Event

**Format:** **Phase One (64 Players):** 16 round robin groups of four players. Each match is the first to four frames, but with a 20-minute match-clock. If a player does not reach four frames before the time expires, the score stands as the result. Players receive two points for a win, one for a draw and no points for a loss.

At the end of all six fixtures, the top placed player will qualify for phase two. If there is a tie for top place, a 6-reds shootout will determine the winner.

If players are tied on points at the end of any group in the Champions League (phases one and two), a 6-reds shootout will determine final standings. This is also required as it is a professional ranking event and points need to be distributed.

**Phase Two (16 Players):** Four round robin groups of four players. Same format as phase one, except the group winner will qualify for Finals Night.

**Phase Three (4 Players):** Finals Night consisting of the four remaining players. There will be two knockout semi-finals followed by a final. All matches will be the best of two sets. A set is the first to four frames, but with a 20-minute match-clock. If a player does not reach four frames before the time expires, the score stands as the result.

At the end of each set, players receive one point for a win, half a point for a draw and no points for a loss.

If the score after the two sets are completed is tied, a 6-reds shootout will determine the winner.

The Golden Break and Golden Duck are in operation throughout the Champions League.

For viewers in the UK, there will be live coverage on TNT Sports. There will also be live coverage for all subscribers on ultimatepool.tv and the Ultimate Pool App.

## Prize Money

**Prize Money:** The 2025 Ultimate Pool Champions League has a total prize fund of £17,400. The prize money breakdown is as follows: 
- Winner: £7,000 
- Runner-Up: £3,000 
- Semi-Finalists: £1,500 each
- 2nd Place in a Last 16 Group: £600 each
- 3rd Place in a Last 16 Group: £300 each
- 4th Place in a Last 16 Group: £200 each

**The 2025 Ultimate Pool Pro Series will feature eight events at four double-header long weekends throughout the year. All 64 professional players are eligible to enter these events.** 

## Dates 

All Pro Series events in 2025 will take place at either the Premier Suite, Bolton Wanderers FC, Bolton or the Robin Park Leisure Centre, Wigan. 

There are four weekend stops, with two Pro Series events taking place at each one. Events will run from Fridays to Sundays.  The dates are:
- **Events 1 & 2 | April 4-6 - Robin Park Leisure Centre, Wigan** 
- **Events 3 & 4 | May 23-25 - Premier Suite, Bolton Wanderers FC, Bolton** 
- **Events 5 & 6 | July 11-13 - Premier Suite, Bolton Wanderers FC, Bolton** 
- **Events 7 & 8 | September 19-21 - Robin Park Leisure Centre, Wigan**

## Prize Money 

The 2025 Ultimate Pool Professional Series has a total prize fund of £233,600. The prize money breakdown for each event is as follows: 
- **Winner: £10,000** 
- **Runner-Up: £4,000** 
- **Semi-Finalist: £2,000** 
- **Quarter-Finalist: £1,000**

## ABOUT ULTIMATE POOL

The Ultimate Pool Group organises and promotes professional 8-ball pool events featuring the world's top players. Founded in 2020 when the QK Sports Entertainment and Orange Media Group brands merged forces, the Ultimate Pool Group harbours an exciting vision for
the sport's future, with an emphasis on supplying quality, entertainment and increased levels of professionalism, exposure and prize money.
Ultimate Pool hosts a portfolio of live televised tournaments including several major invitationals and a structured two-tier floor circuit that consists of an open amateur series and an elite 64 player professional series. Throughout 2025, Ultimate Pool is set to pay out approximately over £840,000 in prizes (subject to fully paid fields). New additions for 2025 series weekends include a revamped Challenger Series, and brand new Team Series, Senior Series and NXT GEN Series.

## SCHEDULE
In a change to previous years, the 2025 Ultimate Pool Pro Series Events will commence on Friday and conclude on Sunday. Al matches will have an allocated start time. A comprehensive match schedule will be published a minimum of two weeks prior t o each Series event.

## PRO SERIES FORMAT
Pro Series for 2025 will be single elimination for both events. There will be 64 players competing in each event. The top 32 ranked players – following the end of the 2024 season – will all be seeded into the round of 64. The remaining players will randomly drawn into their positions in the Last 64 round. All matches are a races to eight frames, although all main arena matches will be played with a match-clock. The Golden Break and Golden Duck rules are not in operation during this year’s Series.

## OTHER EVENTS
There will also be multiple events throughout the season that have been scheduled into 2025, as the Players Championship, European and British Opens, the Pro Cup and the Masters continue - these events are likely to be spread around the UK. Meanwhile, Monday Nights
will once again continue with the Champions League, Pairs Cup and Mixed Pairs on TNT Sports and Worldwide.

## DRESS CODE
All players will receive an official series shirt, which must be worn during your matches. No jeans or trainers allowed. Trousers and shoes to be worn whilst playing in all events. Any player who doesn't wear the official Ultimate Pool Shirt will be fined £45.00 and a new shirt
will be ordered for them.

## TV AND STREAMING 
Our Series events will either be televised and/or livestreamed on ultimatepool.tv, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok. For further details please visit ultimatepoolgroup.com.

## WRISTBAND FEE
For the 2025 season, we will be using a wristband system for each series event. If you are participating in the events, the charge will be £50.00 per weekend. If you are planning on bringing your partner, friend etc, weekend passes are available for £20.00. Under 18s go free, but must be accompanied by a fee-paying adult.

By entering the Ultimate Pool Series you agree to abide by the rules set out by the organisers of the Ultimate Pool Series, accept they are subject to change and that decisions made by The Tournament Director will be final.

Ultimate Pool Players Championship returns again in 2025 for its fourth edition.  The event will start at 4pm on Friday 9th May and will run through till Sunday 11th May where there will be one winner.  The event again will be live on UltimatePool.TV.
There will be 64 professionals competiting in this event.  We will be introducing a new format for this event.  This year the event will be double elimination down to single elimination from the Last 16 stage.  The format will be sets, Both Winners and Losers side will be Best of 3 Sets, each set races to 5.

The Ultimate Pool Pairs Cup returns for its 5th edition! Defending Champions, Callum Singleton and Josh Kane will return to defend their title, with huge pairings joining them! Last Man Standing 2025 is BACK and exclusively live on UltimatePool.TV!!
After the success of this event in 2024, we are back again in 2025 with 34 players this time around.  These 34 players are a mixture of UP Professionals and two wildcards  They will compete on the 7th and 8th June, this time from Spots & Stripes, Redhill, London
This exciting format will serve up some classic matches along the way and will undoubtably have some shock exits along the way too.
How it work.... 
1. The first two players will be drawn out at random using the random generator.
2. The winner will then be able to choose from the players remaining or go with the random generator again.
3. If that same player wins again, he must then choose an assassin whom has a bounty on his head or revert to the random generator
If they happen to win three in a row, they will be placed on the "Hot Seat" and they are then exempt from being picked again until someone else wins three in a row where they will replace the previous player in the "Hot Seat"  This repeats itself all the way through the event until we get to the final five players that are left in the event.
