Women’s Pro Cup 2026

Ultimate Pool is proud to introduce the brand-new Women’s Pro Cup to the 2026 calendar — an exciting new event designed to further strengthen and expand the women’s game across both the Professional and Challenger structures.

The event will feature dedicated Professional and Challenger competitions, creating additional opportunities for players at every level to compete for significant prize money, ranking points, and prestigious Ultimate Pool titles.

With elite-level competition, streamed feature matches, live scoring, and a packed weekend schedule, the Women’s Pro Cup is expected to become one of the standout additions to the 2026 season.


Women’s Pro Cup – Professional Event

The Women’s Professional Pro Cup will feature a 32-player field, made up primarily of players from the Women’s Professional Series alongside selected Challenger players who will have the opportunity to compete against some of the very best players within Ultimate Pool.

Professional Event Format

Players will be drawn into:

  • 8 Groups of 4 Players

  • Each group consisting of:

    • 2 x Semi-Finals
    • 1 x Group Final

The format has been designed to create high-pressure matches throughout the weekend, with every group effectively acting as its own mini knockout competition.

Group Stage Matches

  • Race to 6
  • 30-minute match clock

The Semi-Finals will be played during the daytime sessions on Friday and Saturday, with the Group Finals taking place during the evening sessions from 6pm.

The winner of each group will progress into Championship Sunday.

Finals Stage – Sunday

The final eight players will compete from 11am on Sunday for the Women’s Pro Cup title.

Quarter-Finals

  • Race to 7
  • 45-minute match clock

Semi-Finals

  • Race to 8
  • 60-minute match clock

Final

  • Race to 9
  • 90-minute match clock

The increased race lengths and match clocks for the latter stages are designed to create a true championship atmosphere for the closing stages of the event.

Women’s Pro Cup – Challenger Event

Alongside the Professional competition, the Women’s Pro Cup Challenger event will feature a 48-player field from across the Women’s Challenger Series.

The event has been designed to provide players with large amounts of match play, meaningful ranking opportunities, and a major standalone event within the Challenger calendar.

Challenger Event Format

The Challenger competition will begin as a Double Elimination event before progressing into straight knockout stages.

Main Event Format

  • Double Elimination down to the Last 16
  • Single Elimination from the Last 16 onwards

Match Races

  • Winners Side — Race to 6
  • Losers Side — Race to 4

The format rewards consistency while still giving players the opportunity to battle back through the Losers Side of the draw.

Challenger Plate Event

Players eliminated from:

  • Losers Round 1
  • Losers Round 2
  • Losers Qualification Round

will move into a separate Plate competition.

Plate Format

  • Single Elimination
  • Race to 5
  • Semi-Finals & Final — Race to 6

The Plate competition ensures additional match play opportunities throughout the weekend while also providing players with the chance to compete for extra prize money.
