Beginning on Monday 7th September 2026, Ultimate Pool will launch an exciting brand-new televised doubles competition – Ultimate Pool Future Stars, shown LIVE on TNT Sports across five consecutive Monday nights.

The concept will bring together established Ultimate Pool Professional players with some of the most exciting young players from the Ultimate Pool NxtGen ranks.

Each doubles pairing will consist of:

🎱 1 Ultimate Pool Professional
🌟 1 NxtGen Future Star

The aim is to give our emerging young players the opportunity to compete alongside an established professional, experience the pressure of live television and showcase their ability on the biggest stage Ultimate Pool can provide.

📅 The Format

The competition will run across five weeks, beginning on Monday 7th September and culminating with Finals Night on Monday 5th October.

Across each of the first four Monday nights, we will have:

🔥 1 group of 4 doubles pairings
🎱 Each pairing consists of 1 Professional + 1 NxtGen Future Star
🤝 Each pairing competes together throughout the evening
📺 All the action shown LIVE on TNT Sports
🏆 The top pairing from each group will progress to Finals Night

Across the four qualifying weeks, a total of 16 different doubles pairings will compete, featuring 16 Ultimate Pool Professionals and 16 NxtGen Future Stars.

At the end of each qualifying night, only the group-winning pairing will book their place in the Grand Final.

That leaves just four pairings standing for Finals Night.

🏆 Finals Night – Monday 5th October

After four weeks of qualifying action, the four group-winning doubles pairings will return on Monday 5th October for the Ultimate Pool Future Stars Finals Night, once again shown LIVE on TNT Sports.

The four remaining pairings will battle it out until one Ultimate Pool Professional and one NxtGen Future Star are crowned the inaugural Ultimate Pool Future Stars Champions. 🏆🌟

💰 £3,200 Prize Fund

A total prize fund of £3,200 will be on offer across the competition:

🏆 Winner – £1,400
🥈 Runner-Up – £600
🎱 Semi-Finalists – £300 per pairing
🌟 Qualifying Group 2nd Place – £150 per pairing

Total Prize Fund: £3,200

All prize money listed is per doubles pairing.

This also means that although only the winner of each qualifying group progresses to Finals Night, the pairing finishing second in each of the four qualifying groups will receive £150.

🌟 Creating Opportunities for the Next Generation

Ultimate Pool Future Stars has been created to give our NxtGen players something genuinely different.

Rather than simply competing against players of their own age, they will have the opportunity to partner an Ultimate Pool Professional, learning from them and competing alongside them under the lights and cameras of a live TNT Sports broadcast.

For the professionals, it is an opportunity to support, guide and mentor the next generation.

For the NxtGen players, it is an invaluable opportunity to experience the environment, pressure and expectation that comes with competing at the very highest level.

And for viewers, it provides the chance to see some of the future stars of Ultimate Pool competing alongside the stars of today.
