🎱 Ultimate Pool Challenger Series 2027
The Ultimate Pool Challenger Series returns in 2027 with 512 players competing across four divisions: Elite, Premier, Gold and Silver.
Following feedback from players, the Elite and Premier Divisions will each feature two single-elimination events per Series weekend. The Gold and Silver Divisions will retain a group-stage format, with players progressing into separate knockout events.
The 2027 Series has been designed to provide players with competitive matches throughout each weekend, clear progression opportunities and the chance to compete for a share of an increased prize fund.
📅 Dates and Venues
There will be four Challenger Series weekends during the 2027 season. All events will run from Friday to Sunday.

A comprehensive match schedule will be published ahead of each Series weekend. All matches will be given an allocated start time.
⚙️ How the 2027 Challenger Series Works
The Series will feature 512 players across four divisions:
- Elite Division – 128 players
- Premier Division – 128 players
- Gold and Silver Divisions – 256 players
🏆 Elite Division
The Elite Division will feature 128 players competing in two separate single-elimination events during each Series weekend.
- Two events per weekend
- Single-elimination format
- Races to 7
- Event 1 begins on Friday and concludes on Saturday
- Event 2 begins on Saturday and concludes on Sunday
🔵 Premier Division
The Premier Division will feature 128 players competing in two separate single-elimination events during each Series weekend.

- Event 2 begins on Saturday and concludes on Sunday
🟡 Gold and Silver Divisions
A combined field of 256 players will initially compete in group stages before progressing into separate Gold and Silver knockout events.
- 64 groups of four players
- Round-robin group format
- Group matches are races to 6
- Top two players from each group progress to the Gold event
- Bottom two players from each group progress to the Silver event
- Knockout-stage race distances will be confirmed before the beginning of the season
📊 Division Placement
The final 2026 rankings will help determine division placement for the 2027 season.
- The Top 32 players in the 2026 Elite/Premier rankings will be placed in the 2027 Elite Division.
- The Top 64 players in the 2026 Gold/Silver rankings will be placed in the 2027 Premier Division.
- Players finishing inside the Gold/Silver Top 64 may choose to enter the Elite Division instead.
- Players finishing outside the Gold/Silver Top 64 may also request an Elite Division place if they wish to test themselves against the highest-ranked Challenger players.
All division placements remain subject to approval by the Tournament Director team.
⭐ 2026 Player Priority
Ultimate Pool greatly appreciates the support and commitment shown by its existing Challenger Series players.
All players who competed in the 2026 Challenger Series will receive first refusal on a place for the 2027 season.
The priority window will close on 31st October 2026. After this date, any places that have not been secured may be offered to new applicants wishing to join the Ultimate Pool Challenger Series.
💷 Prize Money
The total advertised prize fund for the 2027 Challenger Series is £289,200, subject to all places being filled and all entry fees being paid in full.
Elite and Premier players will compete in two events per weekend, creating eight separate events across the season. Gold and Silver players will compete in one event per Series weekend.

📈 Ranking Points
The official 2027 Challenger Series ranking-points structure is currently being reviewed.
Full details of the ranking points, including how they will apply across each division and determine promotion and relegation for the following season, will be added once finalised.
👕 Dress Code
All players will receive an official Ultimate Pool Series shirt, which must be worn during matches unless otherwise advised by the Tournament Director.
Players may display up to seven approved sponsorship logos on their playing shirt.
The permitted dress code is:
- Official Ultimate Pool Series shirt
- Dress trousers, smart chinos or golf trousers of any colour
- Formal shoes of any colour or all-black trainers
Players are expected to maintain the professional standards associated with Ultimate Pool when attending any event.
📺 Television and Streaming
The Ultimate Pool Series will continue to receive extensive broadcast coverage, with selected events and matches shown across Ultimate Pool’s platforms.
Sundays at Series weekends will be dedicated to non-Pro Series matches. Further broadcast and streaming information will be announced ahead of each event.
Challenger Series players will also receive complimentary access to the Ultimate Pool App’s premium service, providing access to every live Ultimate Pool event.

🎟️ Wristband Fees
The player wristband fee for 2027 will be £60 per Series weekend.
Rather than collecting wristband payments separately before each event, the full annual wristband cost will be included within the player’s annual fees and spread across the scheduled instalment payments.
Annual player wristband cost: £240
Guest wristbands will be available at the following prices:
- Full weekend pass: £25
- Day pass: £10
Further information regarding wristband collection will be issued before each Series weekend.

Total entry fee: £1,040
This comprises:
- Series entry: £800
- Four weekend wristbands: £240

- £400 deposit – due by 31st October 2026
- £320 Payment 1 – due by 26th February 2027
- £320 Payment 2 – due by 30th April 2027
🟡 Gold and Silver Divisions
Total entry fee: £840
This comprises:
- Series entry: £600
- Four weekend wristbands: £240
Payment schedule:
- £400 deposit – due by 31st October 2026
- £220 Payment 1 – due by 26th February 2027
- £220 Payment 2 – due by 30th April 2027
Entry includes an official Series shirt and an annual subscription to the Ultimate Pool App’s premium service.
⚠️ Deposits and all entry fees are non-refundable. If an application is unsuccessful, the deposit will be returned as soon as possible.
Players are responsible for paying their full annual fees, regardless of whether they attend every Series weekend. Ultimate Pool reserves the right to remove and replace any player who fails to meet the published payment deadlines.

By paying the initial deposit, a player is committing to:

- Paying the remaining balance in accordance with the applicable payment schedule
- Reading, understanding and agreeing to the 2027 Ultimate Pool Series rules and terms and conditions
