Cuesports social media star Aaron Vancoppenolle has joined the Ultimate Pool Group and will become the organisation’s Head of Social Media.

Vancoppenolle – perhaps better known as ‘aaronthepoolshark’ online – has over four million followers across various social media platforms, with his most successful video on TikTok gaining over 100 million views.

In recent weeks Vancoppenolle has worked with several Ultimate Pool professionals including four-time world champion Gareth Potts to create content that has already proved very popular online.

In his new role he will continue to push the Ultimate Pool brand and International 8-Ball Pool Rules to new audiences, including wider sports and social communities.

Looking forward to his new position, Vancoppenolle said: “I’m super excited to join Ultimate Pool as I believe they are doing well for the sport and also have huge potential to make it big. They have a great team, great players and great content.

“I am hoping to make Ultimate Pool the largest pool promoters on social media and for people to explore and enjoy the upcoming app.”
