Snooker superstar Mark Allen is set to become an Ultimate Pool professional player for the 2023 season.

The six-time ranking event and 2018 Masters winner played and impressed on his Ultimate Pool debut a few weeks ago when he reached the final of Group 5 in the Players Championship where he narrowly lost to Mick Hill.

And now, the Northern Irishman looks to build on that platform as he makes himself eligible for the next Pro Series and several other tournaments within the organisation.

Allen is the second big name snooker player to be announced as a professional wildcard for the 2023 campaign following the reveal of three-time world champion Mark Williams earlier this month.

Both Allen and Williams will try to compete in as many Ultimate Pool events as they can around their snooker schedules.
